Project Overview:
“Delavar” was a contemporary art exhibition celebrating Iranian and Persian arts and culture, featuring works from artists nationwide. I led all event and exhibition marketing, coordination, content capture, social media, artwork photography, and print assets, ensuring cohesive promotion and documentation.
The opening night drew nearly 600 attendees and featured cultural speakers and guest performers. Additionally, I assisted in coordinating and marketing several supporting events, including independent film screenings by Persian artists, a wine reception, and the closing reception. Partnering with Chil Studios, I managed professional event photography.
Social Media
I scheduled, produced, and managed all social media posts for the gallery events, promotions, and products.
Print Assetts
For this special exhibition, we wanted to create a memento that visitors could take home with them and share with others - that is how we landed on a postcard design to be printed and distributed on opening night and throughout the duration of the exhibition. I was responsible for the exhibition poster design, postcard design, and the production of the postcard.
Artwork Photography
I photographed and edited all artwork and artwork images for the website.
Event Planning and Coordination
I coordinated the exhibition’s key events, including aiding the gallery team in planning for opening night which included: catering by DelBar, cultural guest speakers, and live poetry performances. Other events included an independent film screening of films by Persian artists, a wine reception, and a closing reception. My responsibilities included managing Eventbrite and RSVP systems, partnering with Chil Studios to capture event content, and overseeing the creation of event flyers, print materials, and promotional assets, ensuring a cohesive and engaging experience throughout the exhibition.
